Where there is no vision, the people perish
Let’s carefully consider the solemn words of the prophet of God, and meditate upon them for a moment in prayer.
If those who are contemplating marriage would not have miserable, unhappy reflections after marriage, they must make it a subject of serious, earnest reflection now. This step taken unwisely is one of the most effective means of ruining the usefulness of young men and women. Life becomes a burden, a curse.
No one can so effectually ruin a woman’s happiness and usefulness, and make life a heartsickening burden, as her own husband; and no one can do one hundredth part as much to chill the hopes and aspirations of a man, to paralyze his energies and ruin his influence and prospects, as his own wife.
I wish I could make the youth see and feel their danger, especially the danger of making unhappy marriages.
Ellen White, Adventist Home pg. 43
Enough is enough
For too long, satan has attacked the marriages of the remnant people of God. The time has come to respond with the full power of God.
Unfortunately, what is stated in the quotation above (from the book Adventist Home) regarding unhappy marriages reflects the reality for a high percentage of our Adventist brothers and sisters worldwide. If radical changes are not implemented, this reality will only become even more widespread in the future.
Preaching one more sermon, publishing one more book, holding one more seminar, or giving one more piece of advice will not solve this issue. What we need is a comprehensive, all-encompassing system to address this challenge effectively.
We at Sanctified Dating will fight against satan with the full power of God, striving to help as many Adventist brothers and sisters as possible become fully aware of the dangers of entering into marriage without first being properly prepared, educated, equipped, guided, and continuously supported.
At the same time, we at Sanctified Dating will not cease pleading with God to grant us vision, wisdom, and resources to solve one of the greatest challenges facing the Seventh-day Adventist Church globally—the alarming rise in the number of Adventist singles over the past decades.
Innovation in Adventist dating
Sanctified Dating revolutionizes Adventist dating by integrating innovation at every stage of the journey.
A Platform True to Adventist Identity
Your identity in Christ as a Seventh-day Adventist isn’t just personal—it’s foundational to how you connect with others. This platform is intentionally designed to reflect and protect that identity through every interaction. With spiritually aligned profile matching, features that honor biblical convictions, and tools rooted in Adventist values and lifestyle, your connections aren’t just compatible—they’re built on the same faith that defines who you are.
Digital Transformation with a Higher Purpose
This is a new era of Adventist connection—powered by innovation, guided by purpose. We’ve reimagined digital matchmaking with cutting-edge systems that go beyond algorithms to understand spiritual depth, lifestyle rhythms, and personal convictions. From dynamic faith-based assessments to features designed for clarity and intentional engagement, every tool is engineered to elevate your experience and support meaningful, God-honoring approach to dating in a modern world.
A Personalized Approach to Connection
Every Adventist has a unique path toward meaningful connection—and that journey isn’t just about finding someone, but becoming the person God is calling you to be. Here, you’re invited to learn, reflect, and deepen your understanding of Christ-centered relationships through prayerful experience, spiritual insight, and personal growth. It’s a nurturing space where your convictions are respected, your pace is honored, and your pursuit of God-honoring love is welcomed.
A Life in Christ: Where Love Begins and Grows
Without Christ, love collapses under the weight of human brokenness. Real love requires more than effort—it requires Christ.
A Name Alone Isn’t Enough
Many Adventist relationships and marriages fall apart—not because of external pressures, but because one or both partners lack a living relationship with Christ. Church attendance, biblical knowledge, or even strong convictions do not guarantee a Christ-centered heart. A person may carry the name but lack the experience. And when Christ is absent, even well-meaning relationships often drift into heartache and disillusionment.
Selfishness: The Greatest Threat to Love
The greatest threat to relationships and marriages is not conflict, difference or distance —it’s selfishness. This deep-rooted tendency to prioritize self is a symptom of spiritual disconnection. Scripture teaches that love is patient, kind, and selfless (1 Corinthians 13:4–7), but no one can love this way without Christ dwelling within. Only His presence transforms the heart, making true selflessness possible.
From “What Can I Gain?” to “What Can I Give?”
A Christ-centered life transforms how we approach relationships. The focus shifts from consumption to contribution: “How can I serve? How can I build up the other person?” This mindset changes how we navigate communication, conflict, and care. When love is expressed as consistent, Spirit-led action—not fleeting emotion—it becomes the foundation for lasting, Christ-honoring relationships.
A Partner Cannot Fill What Only Christ Can
Deep within every heart is a longing that no human can satisfy. Many unknowingly place this burden on a partner, expecting them to provide happiness, validation, or identity. But these are needs only Christ was meant to fulfill. When our emotional and spiritual core is anchored in Him, we approach relationships not from emptiness, but from overflow. We become more resilient, less reactive, and far more secure. Instead of straining the relationship with unmet expectations, we bring peace, wholeness, and grace into it.
Helping Adventists grow in Christ—before and while growing together
Sanctified Dating is about more than helping Adventists find a spouse—we equip individuals to grow in Christ and build relationships on a strong spiritual foundation. We continue supporting couples as they grow together in faith, deepen their connection, and reflect Christ in how they love and live.
The necessary education
for relationship and marriage
Is it normal to go through a formal education for decades and not to have at least one subject, not even one class about preparation for relationship and marriage?
The education gap no one talks about
We prepare for careers with years of study—but enter relationships with little more than feelings. Most Adventists face dating unprepared, struggling with communication, emotional wounds, and unmet expectations. No one taught us how to set healthy boundaries, recognize red flags, or handle peer and family pressures with spiritual clarity.
Dating by discernment, not by guessing
Without the right knowledge, many rely on trial and error, hoping love will “just work out.” But Christ-centered dating is intentional. It’s about spiritual clarity, not confusion—learning how to build trust, read emotional signals, and walk with discernment rather than impulse. When grounded in truth, love becomes purposeful and life-giving.
The skills that make love strong
A thriving relationship needs more than affection. Communication, conflict resolution, and wise financial planning prevent small issues from becoming major struggles. Self-awareness, emotional patience, and the ability to replace love myths with grounded truth help couples grow in confidence, trust, and shared direction.
Preparing for lifelong mission
Marriage is more than romance—it’s friendship, trust, and a shared mission. When couples understand love languages, embrace God-given roles, and appreciate each other’s individuality while working in unity, they build a covenant that reflects Christ’s love and endures for a lifetime.

Intentional friendship phase introduced
Bridging the gap between singleness and a Christ-centered relationship.
In today’s world, many jump from singleness straight into a relationship—often without building a strong foundation. Many relationships fail because they begin with emotions first and clarity second. At Sanctified Dating, we believe in a more intentional, Christ-centered approach, ensuring that relationships start on the right path. The Intentional Friendship phase creates a safe, thoughtful, and spiritually guided transition before entering a relationship.

The word Reserved holds a dual meaning as it defines the Intentional Friendship phase.
Reserved in expressions of feelings
✅ Intentional Emotional Restraint – Both individuals intentionally hold back on deep emotional expressions, ensuring that feelings do not overshadow wise decision-making.
✅ Preventing Premature Attachment – This approach helps avoid unnecessary emotional pain if the intentional friendship does not transition into a relationship.
✅ Focus on Spiritual and Personal Compatibility – Rather than leading with emotions, the emphasis is on understanding each other’s values, faith, and character.
Reserved for one person
✅ Exclusive Focus for Clarity – During this phase, both individuals commit to focusing solely on each other, ensuring a genuine investment in discovering spiritual and personal alignment.
✅ Removing Distractions and Confusion – By being reserved for one person, unnecessary distractions are eliminated, allowing for a clear and prayerful decision about moving forward.
✅ Loyalty Begins Before the Relationship – This phase provides an opportunity to practice faithfulness and commitment early, reinforcing that true loyalty starts long before marriage.
Introducing the concept of Matchmakers
Not just algorithms. Real people, real experience, real wisdom, real prayerful guidance to help you find the one God has prepared for you.
The traditional doesn’t mean outdated by default. The modern doesn’t mean bad by default. We extract and apply the best from both. Finding a Christ-centered life partner is a sacred journey that blends spiritual depth with practical wisdom.
At Sanctified Dating, we honor the wisdom of the past while embracing modern tools to create a wholesome and effective experience. One of our most unique features is the introduction of Matchmakers—trusted SDA members who prayerfully and thoughtfully assist in the journey toward a Christ-centered marriage.
Our Matchmakers serve as mentors, prayer warriors, and advisors, combining faith, discernment, and experience to help you navigate the dating process.

Sanctified Dating organizes in-person events and projects for singles
Online interactions are great, but they aren’t enough. That’s why we create meaningful opportunities for our members to meet and connect in person.
How many hours have you spent on the social media profiles of Adventists—or even interacting with them online—trying to see if they might be a potential match, yet never having the chance to meet and talk in person? Do you remember how much you wished for that opportunity, but found it difficult to make it happen?
How many times have you attended Adventist events, gatherings, camps, or congresses, praying and hoping to meet your match, only to return home feeling even more disappointed? The fact that the event wasn’t specifically for singles made it difficult to interact intentionally with someone you were interested in.
Many of us on the Sanctified Dating team have experienced this ourselves, and we understand exactly how our Adventist brothers and sisters feel. The solutions we provide through Sanctified Dating are the result of earnest prayers, pleading with God to help His remnant children who are single.
Organizing in-person events for Adventist singles worldwide
At Sanctified Dating, we organize in-person events for singles worldwide, providing a wonderful opportunity for members of our platform to meet face-to-face in a meaningful and comfortable environment. These events feature a variety of activities designed to help singles connect, interact, and get to know each other better. From engaging games to uplifting group discussions, every activity is wholesome, fun, and respectful of Adventist values. Our dedicated matchmakers are present to serve as catalysts, offering advice, counsel, and on-the-spot support. To ensure a seamless experience, we take care of the entire organization—from airport transportation to accommodation and meals—so attendees can focus on building connections in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
Organizing mission projects for Adventist singles across the globe
In collaboration with SDA unions, conferences, churches, organizations and ministries, we at Sanctified Dating organize mission projects for Adventist singles across the globe, lasting from a few weeks to a few months. These projects bring together singles of similar age in one place, where they can serve God through various mission activities and tasks. Whether engaging in community outreach, humanitarian work, evangelism, work with youth, or church-building projects, participants not only make a meaningful impact but also form deep connections with like-minded individuals. By working side by side in a Christ-centered environment, singles have the opportunity to get to know each other in a natural and purposeful way, building friendships and relationships rooted in faith and service.
Providing logistical support to help Adventist singles meet
We at Sanctified Dating offer logistical support to help Adventist singles connect by providing valuable information on visas, relocation opportunities, and places where more Adventist singles live. Whether it’s for digital nomads, seasonal work, or moving to a city or country with a strong Adventist community, we guide singles toward locations where they can serve, grow, and interact with like-minded believers. These opportunities not only allow singles to build meaningful friendships but also create natural settings where relationships can develop. By living, working, and serving together, Adventist singles can strengthen their faith, contribute to God’s work, and find lasting connections that may lead to relationships and marriage.
Who can become a member of Sanctified Dating?
Baptized Seventh-day Adventists who are official members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing, without any current disciplinary restrictions, and who are 18 years of age or older.
Can Adventists who are not available (already in an intentional friendship, relationship, engaged, or married) join the Sanctified Dating platform?
Sanctified Dating is primarily designed for single Adventists seeking Christ-centered relationships. However, non-single Adventists may also join. They do not join for themselves, but to support others—such as church leaders (administrators, pastors, elders, or youth leaders), Adventist parents exploring the platform their children use, or relatives, friends, and fellow church members who want to support Adventist singles in their journey toward a Christ-centered relationship. Because we are committed to keeping this platform as safe and trustworthy as possible, everyone—without exception—must complete the full verification process, and standard subscription pricing applies to all users.
Since the Sanctified Dating platform is primarily designed for singles, yet some members may already be in a committed phase, we use a distinct visual indicator to represent availability. Each profile image is surrounded by a ring, and ¾ of that ring displays a specific color to indicate the person’s current availability. If the ¾ segment of the ring is green, the person is available; if it’s red, the person is not available. This visual representation appears consistently across the entire platform, allowing anyone to instantly recognize each person’s availability at a glance.
Is Sanctified Dating only for Adventist singles who are actively seeking a relationship and marriage?
No, Sanctified Dating is not limited to Adventist singles who are actively seeking a relationship or marriage. The platform is thoughtfully designed to include single Adventists at every stage of their relational journey. Some may be praying and open to meeting someone soon, while others may be waiting for the right time, seeking clarity, exploring the community without expectations, or simply being present to support others through prayer and encouragement. Each member’s current approach is visible on their profile, helping to foster mutual understanding, respect, and intentional connection within the community.
Is it possible for someone who is single to select “Unavailable” if, for any reason, they don’t want to appear as “Available”?
Yes, absolutely. Even if a person is single, they can choose to mark themselves as “Unavailable.” This may be due to a personal healing process after a previous relationship or marriage, a sense of being unprepared for a relationship, or any other personal reason. We understand that everyone’s journey is different, and this option allows individuals to remain part of the community—to be blessed by it—without the pressure of appearing available.
