At Sanctified Dating, we know that faith isn’t just a part of your life—it’s the foundation. That’s why we’ve created a Christ-centered platform where committed Seventh-day Adventist singles can connect with others who share their values, convictions, and vision for a God-honoring relationship. This FAQ page is here to help you better understand how our platform works, what sets it apart, and how we safeguard a respectful, spiritually grounded dating experience.

What is Sanctified Dating?

Sanctified Dating is a comprehensive, faith-driven relationship platform created specifically for Seventh-day Adventist singles who are seeking Christ-centered, meaningful connections. More than just online dating, it combines digital innovation with spiritual intentionality—offering tools like verified profiles, video meetings, dedicated matchmakers, and interactive groups and forums.

We also host in-person events around the world and provide educational resources rooted in Adventist values to help members grow in Christ as they prepare for a God-honoring relationship. Sanctified Dating is not just about finding someone—it’s about becoming someone, in Christ, alongside others who share the same hope and calling.

For whom is Sanctified Dating primarily designed?

Sanctified Dating is primarily for single, baptized Seventh-day Adventist Christians who are official members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing—that is, not under any current disciplinary restrictions. All members must be at least 18 years old.

This platform exists to serve Adventists who desire to build Christ-centered relationships rooted in shared beliefs, mutual respect, and spiritual purpose.

Can Adventists who are not single subscribe?

Yes. While Sanctified Dating is designed primarily for singles, non-single Adventists may also subscribe—not for personal matchmaking, but to support the singles. This includes church leaders (such as administrators, pastors, elders, youth directors, or youth leaders), Adventist parents exploring the platform their children use, and relatives or close friends who wish to walk alongside Adventist singles on their journey toward godly relationships.

To maintain the highest standards of trust and safety, every subscriber must complete the full verification process, and standard subscription pricing applies to all accounts.

How do I know if someone is available or not?

Because some members may already be in a committed phase—such as intentional friendship, relationship, engagement, or marriage—Sanctified Dating provides a clear and consistent availability indicator visible throughout the entire platform.

Each profile image is surrounded by a ring, with ¾ of the ring color-coded to show availability:

– Green means the person is available

– Red means the person is not available

In addition to the colored ring, each profile also displays the explicit label “Available” or “Unavailable” for added clarity. This system ensures that everyone can understand someone’s availability at a glance—supporting transparency, respect, and purposeful interaction.

Is there an age limit for subscribing?

Yes—the minimum age to subscribe is 18 years old. Sanctified Dating is designed for adults only, in alignment with both legal requirements and the spiritual responsibility that comes with building an intentional, Christ-centered relationship.

There is no upper age limit. We warmly welcome Adventists of all generations, including seniors, who wish to be part of a respectful, faith-based community.

Is Sanctified Dating safe?

Yes—safety is one of the cornerstones of Sanctified Dating. Our platform was built specifically for the Seventh-day Adventist community, and we are deeply committed to providing a secure, trustworthy, and respectful environment for everyone involved.

We implement an ultra-detailed and ultra-strict verification process, including a reference image system that is used consistently across the platform to confirm user authenticity. Anonymous or unverified users are never permitted, and every profile is manually reviewed before activation.

Our partial verification process includes multiple steps to ensure authenticity, including a short video call with each applicant before they are allowed to participate. For full verification, a trusted third party—such as a pastor, elder, or church member in good standing—must confirm the applicant’s official membership in their local Seventh-day Adventist Church.

In addition to verification, we uphold safety through strict moderation guidelines, a serious and prompt response to reports, robust anti-scam and fraud prevention systems, and the application of the latest security standards and best-in-class privacy practices.

How does Sanctified Dating ensure a faith-based experience?

Sanctified Dating is deeply rooted in Seventh-day Adventist identity and values, and everything we do is built upon that foundation. Every user is verified as a baptized, official member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing, ensuring a community grounded in shared beliefs, trust, and accountability.

All features are meticulously designed and developed to foster a continuous faith-based experience. The platform is filled with Christ-centered educational materials, vibrant groups and forums, thoughtful social media engagement, and a dedicated team of matchmakers and operational members who actively maintain the spiritual quality of all discussions, content, and interactions.

Our in-person events are rich with meaningful, interactive activities—each one prayerfully aligned with Adventist values to uplift, inspire, and connect.

This is more than a dating platform—it’s a spiritual journey, and we walk that path together.

What should I do if someone is not behaving appropriately?

If someone is acting in a way that goes against the spirit or standards of Sanctified Dating—whether through inappropriate messages, dishonesty, or disrespect—we encourage you to report the behavior immediately using the built-in reporting tools, which are available across the entire platform.

Our team reviews every report carefully and takes appropriate action, which may include warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent removal from the platform.

We are deeply committed to maintaining a Christ-centered, respectful space—and your vigilance helps protect the integrity of our community.

Can I join Sanctified Dating even if I'm not currently interested in a relationship, even though I'm single?

Yes. Sanctified Dating is not limited to Adventist singles who are actively seeking a relationship or marriage. The platform is thoughtfully designed to welcome single Seventh-day Adventists at every stage of their relational journey—including those who are waiting, healing, discerning, or simply not ready to pursue a relationship.

All single members are required to select one current level of readiness and intention when joining Sanctified Dating. This choice—visible on their profile—eliminates ambiguity and fosters clear, respectful, and intentional interaction within the community. The selection can be updated at any time, depending on where the member is in their journey.

The five levels are:

(5) I’m actively seeking – I’m praying about it and open to meeting someone soon.

(4) I’m interested – I’m praying and waiting for the right person and time.

(3) I’m unsure – I’m praying for clarity and open to where God may lead.

(2) I’m here to explore – I’m connecting with the community without specific expectations.

(1) I’m not seeking a relationship right now – but I’m praying for others and want to support this community.

This system ensures that each member’s approach, readiness, and openness to dating is clearly displayed on their profile, giving others a clear picture and helping foster mutual understanding, respect, and meaningful connection.

I’m single, but I’m not ready to date. Can I set my profile to “Unavailable”?

Yes, absolutely. Even if you’re single, you can choose to mark your availability as “Unavailable” if you’re not ready to enter a relationship at this time.

This may be because you’re healing from a past relationship, trying to listen to God’s voice without distraction, focusing on your education, career, or mission work, taking time for personal growth, attending to other priorities in this season, or simply waiting on God’s timing. Whatever the reason, you can still be an active part of the community—encouraging others, joining events, and being spiritually present—without the pressure of appearing available.

Sanctified Dating honors your journey, respects your current season, and lets you move forward when you’re ready. Setting your availability to “Unavailable” simply lets others know that, for now, you’re not open to being approached for dating.
